That artilce to me shocked me because i did not realize that the US had so much people in jail. It says that California has more people that other countries combined. Half of these people in jail are hispanics and black.
ReplyDeleteAt first i thought that they are in jail because they deserve it but it also said that these prisoners are used to make profit for the US. SO they probably find excuse to have these people in jail and have them work for low wages.
Race is definatley a big factor in the way wealth is distributed. Blacks and hispanics arent even given the chance to work for a ggod pay because they are being enslaved by th US prisons and jails.
